  DSP amplifier bypass cable (20-316). Adapter cable to bypass the original DSP amplifier in a BMW X5 car with original sat nav. This adapter cable allows the fitting of an aftermarket stereo upgrade by bypassing the original DSP amplifier in the car. The original amplifier uses a digital data audio signal and therefore cannot be used with an aftermarket radio. The cable bypasses the original amplifier allowing the new radio to play audio directly to the cars speakers. The original amplifier is located behind the rear left quarter panel in the boot. The amp bypass cable connects to the speaker connectors from the amplifier, it also connects to the quadlock connector from the original tuner module located under the boot floor next to the battery. A 5 metre extension is provided to then extend these audio and power connections to the dashboard. The cable then terminates with a quadlock connector, this allows for the fitting of an ISO radio adapter cable or a steering wheel control adapter cable to fit to the new radio. The extension also accommodates for speed pulse and reverse gear signals to be extended to the steering control interface, these are loose wires on the adapter cable that need to be hardwired at the back of the car. This fitting kit allows you to replace the original factory fitted head unit in the vehicle with a new aftermarket Double DIN version, retaining the original dashboard appearance and the steering wheel control functions. This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior. This fascia adapter panel is to fit a double din aftermarket radio. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. The fascia is a matt black finish and is a flush mount style so it replaces the radio trim supplied with the aftermarket radio. This gives a flush professional finish to the installation. The fascia is supplied with a double din fitting cage. Standard cages supplied with aftermarket radios are too big for the fascia trim. Fits Seat Ibiza Mk4 (2008 – 2017). Will not fit cars with original MIB II colour screen. Steering wheel control interface and adapter cable for Seat cars to fit an aftermarket radio upgrade. The cable adapts from the Quadlock connector in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. Note; the operation of these buttons can be dependent on the vehicle specification and radio compatibility, see the instructions for more information. The CANbus interface will also provide a key present ignition, illumination, speed pulse, reverse gear and handbrake outputs. This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. The adapter cable has a built in module which provides a phantom power feed to the original antenna in the car. A phantom power feed is a 12v power supply that is sent up the centre wire of the antenna cable, this powers the amplifier built into the original antenna. The antenna adapter cable has a loose wire which needs to be connected to the 12v antenna power output of the new aftermarket stereo. The phantom power feed terminates in a male bullet connector to make the phantom power lead easier to connect to ISO cables and steering wheel control interfaces with a female bullet connection for the electric antenna turn on. We also have this part available with a junior timer receptacle terminal to make it easy to connect into the electric antenna turn on position of a standard ISO connector, the 21-123. Universal patch lead to be used with In car Tec 49 series steering wheel control interfaces. Use for Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony head units. FOR UNBRANDED/ CHINESE HEAD UNITS YOU WILL REQUIRE A DEDICATED 49-000 PATCH LEAD. SOME KNOWLEDGE OF CAR AUDIO INSTALLATION IS HELPFUL IN CASE A MODIFICATION IN SOME RARE CASES MAY BE NECESSARY OR NEEDED. China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit.
