Factory fitted speakers often have a shape that does not conform to the DIN standard. Our Speaker adapter panels are designed to line up with the original mounting holes fit behind the door cards of various VW group vehicles to allow you to change to new improved quality 165mm aftermarket speakers quickly and with little effort. The doors on T5 and T6 transporters can get wet inside due to rain getting past the weather strip below the window which then drains from the bottom of the door. To protect the speakers from this moisture we offer optional silicon baffles which create a splash proof seal around the back of the speaker against the outer door skin with the added benefit of reducing interference between sound from the front and rear of the speaker.
