This adaptor will convert the non din-sized aperture left after removing the factory stereo to a din size ready for head unit installation. The high quality finish, colour and texture are designed specifically to maintain the original look of your vehicles interior. This fitting kit includes a Matt Black car radio fascia adapter panel to allow the fitting of an aftermarket double DIN car radio upgrade. The fascia adapter allows the fitting of an aftermarket radio into the dashboard by matching the shape, style and colour of the original radio. This fascia kit uses side fixing brackets, the brackets fit directly to the sides of the new radio and the fascia panel. This replaces the need for a fitting cage and gives a flush professional appearance to the installation. Use the supplied pocket for a single DIN installation or remove the pocket for a double DIN installation. You will need to remove the fascia surround and disconnect the switches from this to access the factory fitted radio. A stalk/steering wheel control adaptor enables you to utilise the original factory remote audio (whether built onto steering wheel or fitted on a stalk next to the steering wheel) with an aftermarket unit. A steering wheel control interface and radio fitting adapter cable is in the kit. The cable adapts from the Dacia connectors in the car to standard aftermarket ISO connectors. This replaces the need for a separate ISO radio replacement adapter cable. The CANbus steering wheel control interface is built in to the adapter cable for a plug and play installation. This interface will allow the original audio control buttons on the steering wheel to work with the new aftermarket radio. The interface will work the volume, track skip, source, mute and telephone buttons. Note; the operation of these buttons can be dependent on the vehicle spec and radio compatibility. The existing Renault adapter loom behind the radio will need to be taken out, leaving the connections behind. These are then connected to our 29- series interface connectors. An Aerial Adaptor is needed when replacing the original factory fitted head unit with an aftermarket head unit. The Fakra male to SMB female DAB adapter converts the original (Fakra DAB) antenna connector in a car to a female SMB (used on aftermarket head-units). A Fakra to DIN antenna adapter cable with 12v phantom power is also supplied with this kit. This cable converts the original antenna connector in the car, known as a Fakra connector, to a standard aftermarket antenna connector, known as a DIN connector. A universal patch lead is supplied in the kit, this is to pair the steering wheel control interface to the steering control input of Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer and Sony aftermarket radios. This installation kit on Dacia Duster cars fitted with the original Renault Visteon head unit. If the vehicle has stop start a start stop voltage stabiliser (10-603) will be required. Some knowledge of car audio installation is helpful, as in some rare case “modification” is necessary. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure that is the correct Fitting Kit for your car by firstly checking to see if your make, model and year of car is listed in the advert. Secondly by checking to see if the connection in the picture listed is the same as you have in your vehicle. The fascias are made to suit industry standard sized stereos such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Alpine, JVC etc, NOT INCLUDING China units or unbranded units. China units have a reputation to be over sized and may require modification to the fascia to allow it to fit. We do not take any responsibility for China units not fitting as they are not industry standard size.
